Beth Heider
Beth is passionate about proving the business case for sustainable, resilient, and healthy buildings, and works at the nexus of research, design, construction, sustainability, and good business.
She has been elevated to Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and LEED Fellow by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and recognized as a Living Hero by the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) among other industry honors.
For Beth, it is not enough to envision the future. Rather, she has changed its course by translating leadership metrics like LEED®, the Living Building Challenge, WELL and Envision into action. Her skills have benefited individual projects, but the true importance of her work to the design and construction community and the clients they serve is her commitment and ability to apply vision and practice to create tools, advocate, and share knowledge --- all of which have multiplied her impact exponentially.
We are exceptionally grateful to have a regular place on Beth's dance card, and her wickedly accurate communication skills helps shape our general approach to solving the big energy and climate issues that we all face today.
